Our Dota 2 MMR Calculator provides comprehensive information about your ranking journey:

- Next Rank Calculation: Displays the next star level within your current medal and the MMR required.
- Next Medal Preview: Shows the next medal tier you can achieve (e.g., from Archon to Legend).
- Games Estimation: Calculates approximately how many games you need to win, based on an average of 25 MMR per win when your rank confidence is high.
- Rank Down Warning: Also shows how much MMR you can lose before dropping to a lower rank.
Understanding the Results
The calculator shows three cards when applicable:
- Your Rank (Solid Border): Your current rank and medal based on your MMR.
- Next Rank (Dashed Border): The next star level you can achieve within your current medal.
- Next Medal (Dashed Border): The first star of the next medal tier (shown only when relevant).
The information panel below shows the exact MMR requirements and estimated games needed to reach each milestone. Remember that these calculations assume an average of 25 MMR per win, which is typical when your rank confidence is near 100%.
Tips for Accurate Results
To get the most accurate results from the calculator:
- Use Your Current MMR: Make sure you're entering your most up-to-date MMR from your Dota 2 profile.
- Whole Numbers Only: Enter your MMR as a whole number without commas or dots (e.g., 3456 not 3,456).
- Check Regularly: Your MMR changes with every ranked game, so check back after each session to track your progress.
- Consider Rank Confidence: If you're new to ranked or recently recalibrated, you might gain more than 25 MMR per win initially.
Common Questions
In the Dota 2 client, click on your profile picture in the top-left corner. Then click on the "Stats" tab. Your MMR will be displayed in large numbers in the top-right section of the stats page.
The three cards represent: 1) Your current rank, 2) The next star in your current medal (e.g., Archon II to Archon III), and 3) The first star of the next medal tier (e.g., Archon V to Legend I). This helps you plan both short-term and long-term ranking goals.
The calculator assumes you gain 25 MMR per win, which is the standard amount when your rank confidence is near 100%. If you're new to ranked or your confidence is low, you might gain more MMR per win. The actual number of games may vary.
